Below is a great infographic detailing the steps to buying a home. It may look daunting, but I can help you with every step. Keep in mind, this is simplified, so there are some steps in-between, but I can help guide you through all of it.

**Notes: Just a couple of things I do want to point out…

  • Some states require a lawyer be involved, that is why one is listed as an expert in this graphic. In Arizona this is not required.
  • It is important to know what escrow is. When you make an offer, you include earnest money. This is similar to a down payment so the seller knows you are serious. The money is held in an escrow account that the title agent sets up for us. At close this money will go towards the sale. It usually goes towards the down payment and/or closing costs.
  • A great team of experts is important. This means a great lender, title agency, or other people we may need to employ. I have a list of recommended professionals I have worked with in the past who are great!
